UKRAINE 1996 – THE CENTRE OF EUROPE – Discover Ukraine by Dzherelo hotel train
This video invites you on a round-trip through Ukraine, the geographical centre of Europe, in the comfort of the Dzherelo hotel-train. It includes sight-seeing tours by historical trams in Kiev, the country`s capital, in Odessa on the Black Sea, Vinnica and Lvov (formerly called "Lemberg"). We travel by steam special on the narrow gauge line from Rudnica to Gaivoron, we make an excursion on the Black Sea by boat. From Odessa we travel northwest through the green landscapes of the Carpathian mountains, different steam locomotives heading the train.
The film shows Russian steam engines of the following types FDP20, L, ER, P36, SU as well as M62 Diesels in action.

- Locomotive type L – wheel arrangement 2-10-0
- Locomotive type ER – wheel arrangement 0-10-0
- Locomotive type P36 – wheel arrangement 4-8-4
